主讲人介绍：曾凡海，山东大学数学学院教授，博士生导师，主要从事分数阶微积分理论及应用方面的研究，2014年在上海大学获得计算数学博士学位，2014-2019年分别在美国布朗大学应用数学系，澳大利亚昆士兰科技大学应用数学系和新加坡国立大学数学系博士后研究，已经在计算数学及应用数学主流期刊?SIAM J. Numer. Anal., SIAM J. Sci. Comput., J. Sci. Comput., Comput. Methods Appl. Mech. Engrg.和J. Comput. Phys.上发表论文40余篇。目前主持国家自然科学基金面上项目一项，参与国家级项目多项。

内容介绍：We develop a uniformly fast method for computing the matrix power of the form $A^{-\alpha}$, where $0＜\alpha＜1$ and? $A$ is a positive definite matrix. The new method overcomes the disadvantages of the existing methods that do not work well when $\alpha$ approaches zero or one. We then extend our method to calculate $(qI+A^{\alpha})^{-1}$, where $I$ is an identity matrix and $q＞0$. Sufficient numerical simulations are performed to show the effectiveness of the new methods, comparisons with the state-of-the-art methods are also made to show the advantages of the new methods.
